LiteIcon: change your Mac OS X icons

Filed in: Free, Mac Add comments

NOTE: This post has been replaced with this one, featuring all the versions of LiteIcon.

In my original post, the one with the free replacement trash cans, I mentioned CandyBar, an application that allows a Mac-user to easily change out virtually any system icon, as well as most others. CandyBar is more powerful, not free, but LiteIcon is free, and does a good job.

I looked at this twice before I realized it wasn’t just an icon, but an application for installing icons. I was very leery at first, but downloaded it and gave it a try. How sweet this is! Now I’m needing some fresh icons. A big thanks to the developer for releasing it for free.

Brilliant App! And I’ve searched everywhere for this version (Tiger compatible). Thanks a million!
