Here are the terms: every five days or so, the three pieces on sale will change. Each one is a 36″ x 24″ stretched canvas ready for hanging, horizontally or vertically. NOTE: This promotion has expired, but click here for the ongoing promo.
As a marketing test and promotion, I have hooked up with my excellent printer to offer a limited number of each of these three 36″x24″ prints for almost 60% off. Three feet by two feet, enough to add abstract color to any wall. And because my signature is fairly light, they could be hung horizontally or vertically.
Not only is the quantity limited, but so is the time: the promotion expires January 13, 2012 at 21:00 (9:PM EST). And as a special offer for those who buy one of these three prints, they can select any other abstract for the same promotional price*.
Each abstract is printed on stretched canvas, so each is ready to handy as soon as you receive it. They usually ship in one business day (from North Carolina) and are expertly packed. We ship all over the world. and every piece comes with a full 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Continue reading »

Google Voice is a telephony app specifically geared to those with multiple phones. One very high-tech feature is built-in to its voice mail.
When someone leaves a voice mail message, Google Voice immediately transcribes the voice recording into text that is sent to you via email. You can also listen to the message from that email.
But in the transcription process, when it needs to guess at words, it displays those words in gray instead of black.
I recently received a message from a business. They began by saying, “This call is for Larry Matre” … but it was transcribed by Google as “This call is for Dairy Monterey” (yes, both words were in gray). Google is consistently working to improve its accuracy. I recommend it to anyone.

Facebook has been overwhelmed with an unfounded rumor of food baited with nails found at dog parks. It’s not true. Over 15,000 Facebook members shared the story with their family of friends, and over 12,000 have commented on it. The vast majority believe it.

The real ironic fact behind this is that it’s being spread by a self-proclaimed dog-lover: Eric ‘Pack Ethic’ Bellows. He introduced it by saying: “New trend at dog parks, nails in pieces of cheese, if you take your dogs to dog parks, please be careful!!” * Continue reading »
