Professional Services Web UI Design & Development
These do not represent all the Web sites I've developed* since 1995 (the first site was actually my own), but are mainly here to provide a visual of my experience. NOTE: Viewing these larger is slightly different than the previous 'service' sub-sections. To navigate those images, you clicked on arrows above them ... to navigate through these, you will click on the images themselves.
*all sites shown here, except for one, were created entirely by me.
That 'one' — the HealthSouth site (2000) was a large team project involving professionals from many disiplines. I was selected for the team as the Director of Content & Creative, and was on the project full time, for 16 weeks — longer than most. And as a director/consultant, I was more expensive than most, billed out at $350 per hour. At the time, I was employed as a staff consultant for a high-tech Web firm based in California — they did the billing (I barely made half that ; ).
The HealthSouth Web team was very large, and consisted of pros from Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, California, New York and a few other states. One day, I met HealthSouth CEO, Richard Scrushy. A few years later, I watched as he was indicted by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, on 85 counts of accounting fraud, totalling $1.4 Billion. I believe he was aquitted the first time, and I don't know what happened after that. All I know is that he sure had a cool, and very fast helicoptor. The heliport was on the building the Web team worked in.
